"My Story of how I with my family came to Australia"
(January 2011)
2005, when me and my family needed to depart Cairns, Queensland, Australia because my mom's employer did not supported her permanent visa with her family (which is us).
I was 14 at that time, year 8, studying at Cairns State High School, and was so eager to stay in Australia for good.... I was so much of a fan of Hillsong Australia (Sydney) and I watch Hillsong Sunday Service at 6am on a local television channel.
One day, few days before my departure to Philippines for good, I started praying and crying to God, claiming Jeremiah 29:11-12, and it says:
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen."
Few days after, I thought of browsing Hillsong.com and see what's on especially the songs that are new. Then I saw an online version of the photo above (well, the photo above is the new version of the Prayer request card, the one I filled in was the one of the older version), and desperately filled in my current situation and that I was praying for permanent visa in Australia with my family, anywhere in Australia as long as it is in Australia. But if it will be in Sydney, Australia, me and my family would definitely..extremely be going to attend Hillsong Church.
Three Years after.
2007, Answered prayer. Thank Jesus Christ!
As the Bible verse written on the Prayer request card/form, James 5:16:
"..The earnest prayer of a righteous person has greater power and produces wonderful results."
Whatever you are praying now, pray for it and claim it. Jesus Christ loves you that He knows what are your wants and needs.
~ 1 John 3:20 "..God is greater than our feelings, and He knows everything."
~ 1 Peter 4:19 "..and trust your lives to the God who created you, for He will never fail you."

And oh (if you are wondering if i am now citizen), currently, I am still waiting for my citizenship which would be next year, 2012 :)
